BioHey there, and welcome to my profile thinger. I'm Aoi Shinohara. Or Shinohara Aoi, whichever way you want to take it. Yes, it's a boring name. BORING NAME. I've lived in Malaysia for too long, so I never write my last name first anymore XD
I'm a 16 year old Japanese girl who happens to have lived most of her life in a country which many people are unaware of: Malaysia. I hate munjens (Wannabe Japanese girlies), so if you're one, don't you bother friending me. I'll be nice to you if you stay away from me. Mmkay?
I absolutely love music. I enjoy playing the piano and guitar in my own free time (Which I don't have much of), and me and my school friends also have this band thing, where I do guitars and vocals. Ah yea, that goes to say I like singing too xD;;. My absolute favourite music genre would have to be rock. Except for glam rock, which I find boring and disturbing, and most indie rock, which is also boring (No offence). I also have an immense dislike for Coldplay's music, sad to say. Emo rock makes me happy :D
....and this goes without saying, obviously, I love my Japanese music, because it's way different from most music in other parts of the world.
Some of my absolute fixations/obsessions/loves would be:
- Miyavi, who is the single most gorgeous (and quirkiest) J-rocker alive.
- KAT-TUN, because what Japanese girl doesn't like her pretty boys? 8D! Jin and Ueda are mine. Steal them and die >D! (Just kidding XD) Jinda pwns Akame, btw.
- Yamashita Tomohisa, because Yamapi's manboobs are love. And the way he walks 8D! And I suppose his acting too. No comments on his singing ._.
- Ancafe, just because they're weird and cute and funny and...did I say weird? And because Bou and Kanon are uberpretty *_*
- Gazette, because Aoi/Uruha is love. Uh, wait, that's not a valid reason 8D;;. Because I love Ruki's voice, and I love their music, and I love their clothes =D
...and probably much more, but these are just the few I'm bothered to list.
I also love watching drama series, preferably Japanese, but some Korean dramas catch my eye as well. My favourites of all time are Anego (Come on, Jin. He cries. Wait, just the fact that Jin's in it is enough XD), Gokusen 2 (Um, because 2 pwns 1 in the fact that 2 had Jin. Oh yes 8D). OH. OH. And Nobuta wo Produce, because Akira!Pi is scary and weird and love XD! *kon*kon*
In my VERY free time, I enjoy reading manga, a few of the most noted being Fullmetal Alchemist, D.Gray-Man and Bleach (Or well, I try. I stopped at Volume 10-ish >_>). I also love reading shoujo manga, especially works by Yazawa Ai (Yes, Yazawa pwns you. Shutup. ParaKiss owns your sock, admit it.
Ah, a word of warning, I support same-sex love, so if that haunts you to no end, just...leave and don't say anything.
...with that, I'm done with my incessant rambling 8D! Please don't be afraid to add me as a friend, I don't bite (most of the times). I love meeting new people with the same interests ^__^!
